Peter Alfonso Cordoba Born in Caibarien, Cuba on January 23, 1928 and passed into the glorious presence of the Lord on October 14, 2016. He was formerly of Wheeling. Beloved son of the late Pedro Cordova of Remedios, Cuba and the late Maria Mendieta of Caibarien, Cuba. Loving father of Diana (William Gustavson) Cordova, Duncanville, TX. Dear brother of the late Gladys Lima and her late husband. Fond uncle of two nephews and a niece.
He attended Austin College in Sherman, TX and then worked for and made many friends at the Havana hub of Braniff Airlines and in the Chicago area at Bell & Howell, Sun Electric and Snap on Tools.
He was supported and loved over the years by his Christian Fellowship of Addison, IL
Visitation Saturday 1:00 PM until Services 2:00 PM at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Rd., at Northwest Hwy., Mt. Prospect.
Interment Saturday October 29, 2016 in Little Bethel Memorial Park, Duncanville, TX. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the charity of your choice.
